The numbers game. In an age of spin, it seems percentages can be used to paint any picture you like. The poll conducted among Hearts fans at the Dundee United game last week showed that 65% of season ticket holders will not be renewing their ticket if Hearts go to Murrayfield. But - only 3,764 (I think!) completed the survey. And Chris Robinson asks, with some justification, what about the other 5,000 season ticket holders? But but! - We're still looking at around 2,000 season ticket holders not renewing. Around £0.5m I'd say at a very rough guess. Not something the Bank of Scotland will take too kindly to. If only Messrs. Robinson, Deans and the McGrails could all work together, perhaps we'd be able to save this great club of ours.
Deans and Robinson are unlikely ever to work together again, there is probably more chance that Robinson would work with Mercer, however not sure that Wallace would agree .
As for Robert McGrail, to borrow £10M to buy Tynecastle then rent it back at a higher cost than the £10M interest
